Registration Fees.

  • Per Child: $65

  • In addition, $20 per child for a soccer uniform (please read the "Uniform Policy" section for additional information). This policy does not apply to Dribblers (U6). Dribblers (U6) need only submit the Registration Fee.

    • Official season start and end dates are set by Cincinnati Hills SAY Soccer after ESA's registration closes. However, as a general guideline:

      • Spring season typically begins the first week of April and goes through to the last week of May (8 weeks).

      • Fall season typically begins around Labor Day and goes through to Halloween (10 weeks)

  • Passers (U8) through Seniors (U19)

    • 8 game schedule-Saturdays and Sundays

    • 4 Home Games & 4 Away Games

    • League Games will begin: TBD

    • League Games will end: TBD

    • Tournament: TBD

Practice Guidelines.

Practices typically begin middle of August. You will receive a phone call or email from your coach regarding practice days/times and when practices officially start.

  • Dribblers (U6)

    • 1 practice per week

 

  • Passers (U8) through Seniors (U19)

    • 1-2 practices per week

 

Players should come to practice prepared with proper equipment (see "Equipment Needed" section) & a water bottle.

Players are placed on teams according to date of birth & by random blind draw in accordance with SAY guidelines.

Special requests for placement on teams must be submitted in writing to the Eastgate Soccer Association Board.  Only valid reasons will be considered.  Ex. Transportation, medical necessity, child care arrangements

Uniforms Policy.

Eastgate charges $20 per child for a uniform. The uniform includes 1 x shirt, 1 x shorts & 1 x pair socks. The uniform is player property. So at the end of the season the uniform is yours and can be carried across multiple seasons.

 

This policy ONLY applies Passers (U8) through Seniors (U19).

 

Dribblers (children under 6) are exempt and ONLY need to submit the registration fee. A t-shirt is provided in the Dribblers (U6) fee. Dribblers will need to provide their own shorts & socks.

 

All players still need to provide their own soccer shoes and shin guards.

Equipment Needed.

  1. Soccer Ball

    • Dribblers & Passers-Size 3 ball

    • Wings & Strikers-Size 4 ball

    • Kickers & above-Size 5 ball

  2. Shin guards

  3. Soccer Socks

    • If you are Passers (U8) through Seniors (U19) a pair of socks are now provided as part of the uniform (see "Uniform Policy" section above).

    • If you are Dribblers (U6) parents will need to provide soccer socks. Eastgate asks that parents purchase black soccer socks.

  4. Soccer Shorts

    • If you are Passers (U8) through Seniors (U19) soccer shorts are now provided as part of the uniform (see "Uniform Policy" section above).

    • If you are Dribblers (U6) parents will need to provide soccer shorts. Eastgate asks that parents purchase black soccer shorts.

  5.  Shoes

    • If cleats are not available in smaller size for the instructional age-gym shoes are acceptable.

    • Baseball or football cleats are not permitted unless the toe cleat is removed.

  6. Water Bottle

  • Bring enough water for all practices & games. Eastgate also recommends that your child(ren) drink adequate water throughout the day. Many cases of heat stroke and heat related illnesses are a result of a child's lack of hydration before practice or games.

 Beech Photography will be scheduling pictures this year.  They will contact coaches for dates and times. Please see your team coach for more details towards the end of the season.

Refunds.

Registration Fee Refunds & Uniform Fee Refunds will be given up to the day of the registration deadline.  Refunds will not be issued the day after the registration deadline.  The season budget is set from the number of registered kids.  These fees cover SAY national fees, SAY district fees, referee fees, tournament fees, new equipment, web site, coach training & certification, field lining and much more.
